Mary, with her expertise and passion for beauty, handles everything beauty-related, ensuring that our guests look and feel their absolute best. With her calming presence and professional approach, Mary creates a serene and inviting environment where brides can relax and enjoy their transformation process. Our Story
M A L U W A ( word for flower in Chichewa) started as a seven year old girl's dream in her mother’s living room in Zambia, Africa. Unsuspecting guests would be offered beauty treatments and the occasional fashion show while being served biscuits and tea. Although the name has taken a transformation since then (previously named Angel and Co) the passion and drive to make others look and feel beautiful remains the same. With a wide range of services and ideas perfected over the years, it is now time to share this knowledge with the wider masses ( at the request of some very encouraging friends- thanks Jen).
What is M AL U W A nowadays? Well we have morphed and grown into various branches rooted in beauty. M A L U W A Bridal is a fashion house specializing in bridal wear based out of South West London, with a physical store in Lilongwe, Malawi. We take pride in building long-lasting relationships that stem from quality service and attention to detail. We only source our dresses from bespoke boutiques to make our beloved guest’s days that extra special.
Staying with the passion for treatments and pampering, we also have M A L U W A Beauty Bar- here you can have your hair washed and steamed while sipping on a cocktail enjoying a massage. We have come a long way from tea and biscuits. Luxury mixed with comfort is the theme in our beauty bar, with braiding on the menu as well as the option to opt into a 100% human hair experience in the form of a wig or a sew in.
